In the early stages of planning for a Design Meet where (hopefully) a bunch of web and graphic designers from across the UK will meet up and have a day of fun, meet people they’ve been speaking to on Twitter and be surrounded by people who care about design as much as they do.
At the moment there’s a toss-up between where it could be but at the moment I’m leaning towards London (for obvious reasons: ie. London is amazing).

If there’s one thing I know about designers, it’s that they’re a selfless group. About a week ago I asked the following question on Twitter (paraphrased):
As a designer, would you be more flattered if someone complimented how you look or how something you’ve designed looks?
I expected more people to say the latter flattered them, but I didn’t expect 100% of the responses to say they’d be more flattered if someone complimented their designs.
