One of my favourite clips from one of my favourite movies. I hope Wes Anderson’s next movie reaches the heights of Rushmore or The Royal Tenenbaums rather than the lows of The Darjeeling Limited.

I like to think of 2011 as the year I really started to appreciate cinema. It started at the end of 2010 when I started really listening to peoples’ opinions about certain films that I would never have watched otherwise – masterpieces like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Twelve Angry Men and Annie Hall. Basically, I have a lot of catching up to do.

I recently discovered The Wire Magazine: Sleeves Received, a brilliant Tumblr dedicated to showcasing the most beautiful record sleeves, usually limited edition and often handmade. Check it out, and subscribe.

Merry Christmas! Since I set this site up at the beginning of March last year, I’ve had over 14,000 unique visitors, hundreds of comments, nearly 35,000 pageviews and these numbers grow each month.
